I'm sorry to say that you are (once again) penalizing the small entrepreneurial groups with your changes and it's going to kill the game.
My current JF route is slightly over 30 LYs and requires 3 jumps with maximum skills. As I understand it, I am now going to need seven (7) jumps to get to my destination, aside from cool down timers. Please do not tell me to use gates, that is simply absurd since I can't have a subcap fleet with me every time I need to bring fuel/supplies back to null.
I am sure there are many pilots who have to jump even longer distances with JFs and while I understand your logic for trying to slow down bat phone deployments, this change will impact the average null bear in a detrimental way for the game. Why are JFs being penalized in the same way as SCs or caps?
I am afraid that if this change goes through as announced, I'll be looking for something else to do with my spare time. It was fun while it lasted. |

I am afraid that if this change goes through as announced, I'll be looking for something else to do with my spare time. It was fun while it lasted. You're a logistics pilot. Stop pretending it was ever fun at all. Now, supplying Drones will be impossible at best and torture at worst.
Actually, this is what I liked about this game in the 6 years that I've played it: You can do a lot of different things assuming you have the skills, patience and resources. Logistics is part of life but if you're making it so difficult for the little guy, I'm not going to do it anymore, with all the consequences that entails, both for my accounts and my customers in Null.
For the vets out there who think us n00bs need to HTFU: You do realize that CCP depends on (new) subscriber income and that by pushing away those new subscribers, the game will stagnate and die, right? This is not the way to keep the content fresh. Unless of course you want to keep everyone in High Sec where they could care less about timers and fatigue... |

It's like truck driving: The law says you have to stop and take naps. Same principle applied to internet spaceships. It's so logical, I don't see why they didn't do it sooner.... |

You will either spread the load more onto more player to do logistic work or lose player because you are starving at the end of a small logistical chain until your current setup can keep up. The people sharing the load the best will be able to keep themself at a higher level than those who rely on too few dudes.
That's my point: CCP is creating two additional logistical problems: fatigue (I'm ok with that) but also jump limitation (not OK). You can get around one by waiting but you need twice as many (actually 11.25/5=2.25) cynos to make a trip. Only larger alliances will have that many cyno pilots available, I don't have enough open slots in my accounts... |
